Up for sale is an interesting oversized Swiss cylinder escapement restoration project pocket watch with a fancy dial and case. The watch is a large 62mm in diameter. I believe it was made in the latter part of the 19th century. The case is silver. The dust cover is silver plated, and some of the plating has worn off. The details of the bezel and back were originally plated pink, but most of the plating has worn off. The bezel has a fancy scalloped shape for the opening for the dial. The bow is incorrect and the crystal is missing. The second hand is missing but the pivot is still good. The porcelain dial is extremely fancy and multicolored. The dial is in excellent condition. The movement has a cylinder escapement and is decorated with engraving. It is not running. The hairspring is not pinned, and one of the balance pivots is broken.
