The brooch is a yellow gold circle, with white gold accents. The circle has a delicate crosshatch design engraved all the way round the face. The base of the brooch has a curved white gold faceplate set with 6 round, single cut VS diamonds. There are two white gold stems rising from the face plate, one ending in a ¼ ct old European VS diamond, and one a 1/3 carat round Ceylon blue sapphire. The Ceylon blue sapphire is incredible purple blue color, with incredible facets, in the old European style.
