Up for sale is a 19th century Swiss Verge Fusee pocketwatch with large silver case. The watch is about 56mm in diameter. The chunky silver case is in very good condition. The white porcelain dial is also in good condition. The hands are incorrect for the watch. The glass domed bullseye crystal has a small crack at the very center. The fusee movement is not running. The chain is OK and the balance seems fine, but there is a broken pivot on the contrate wheel. The movement is signed Jn E Piot Geneve. The movement has a dust cover similar to an English fusee, which is unusual for a watch made on the continent. Please view the photos and ask questions as needed. Large Antique Oriental Silver Tribal Box Necklace. This stunning piece of jewelry was hand made in the Orient, probably in India around or before the turn of the last century and features three rectangular and two triangular ornate Silver boxes linked to each other through beaded strings. Attached to the bottom of the boxes are tiny silver bells. The piece is in good antique condition with some tarnishing according to age and a few pieces missing (there seems to have been a fifth string and one more bell). This stylish piece measures approx. 8 1/2″ long (only silver elements) x 2 1/2″ wide and weighs approx. Made from a Silver-Copper alloy of unknown purity. A very rare and unusual piece!
